    Lower Front End

I run several auto cross events each year. Actually a total of seven this year. I think lowering my Marauder will improve the handling? What are my options. I know I can cut part of the coil, but does that soften the ride? I think I've read that no one offers any lowering springs? Any help would be appreciated.

From personal experience cutting a full coil off and giving it a week or two to settle in dropped mine a solid inch. Cornering was GREATLY improved, ride quality went south quick.

This was done in around ‘08 retaining the OEM shocks with probably only 40,000 miles or so on the car.

What I'd like to do is find someone selling the OEM strut coil/shock assembly then cut one coil and replace the shock absorbers and see how it works for Auto Cross. I can always re-install my original strut coil/shock assemblies. Anyone know where I might find a set?

Also, when lowering the rear by moving the ride leveler switch, I found the rear suspension seems softer when it's lower. I suppose I could look at a coil spring swap.

Chatted with a guy from Aldan American and he suggested the 650 pound springs. 750 pounds would probably be a little harsh for daily driving. $840 isn't too bad.

Here's a cheap coilover option. I still prefer ADTR's kit with a lifetime warranty and a brand that's been around for a long time.

You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard
