Does it move with the master driver door switch? Is the window lock on? Motor could have died if it's original.

Agree. Almost every time the passenger window failed over the years it was the drivers side switch bring the culprit. I would just do the bi yearly cleaning of the contracts with a dremel and a small pointy buffer pad. Fixed in minutes.

Maybe a dead spot in the motor armature? The LR on my Town Car did this and I held the button and slammed the holy hell out of the door and it has worked fine ever since.

    It's called "percussive maintenance".

With the interior lights on, try the switch, if the lights dim your getting power to the window motor, if they don;t dim you have a problem with the switch, bad motor, wiring, etc.

If the light dims try banging on the inside door panel while working the switch.

X2 on slamming the door while using the passenger door switch. No such luck with mine I had to replace the window motor.

Get a big rivet gun and 1/4" rivets from amazon.

Pretty sure You can leave the bracket on and just swap the Motor. It's been a while since I've done it.
