    Jegs copy of flowmaster super 40 muffler

    So many years ago back in 2004 i bought a set of mufflers for my 2004 cobra and never got around putting them on and now i have my 2004 Marauder and was wondering has anybody
    put super 40's on their car and if they have any drone that will drive me crazy lol.. Again they are a Jegs copy of flowmaster super 40 muffler

    I ran the Thrush "welded" mufflers (part #17656) on two of my Crown Vics, both 2008 P71's. These are essentially very good copies of the Flowmaster 40 series. I don't know for sure if the Jegs copies are similar or what.

    They sounded just amazing on the cars. Keep in mind this is on a P71 which doesn't have resonators or special tips or anything. In my opinion, they sounded absolutely spot on for these cars. Here's a link to a walkaround of my last 2008, it's just at idle but gives you an idea of the sound. Even under heavy throttle they weren't raucous and I got no drone whatsoever. I'd imagine you'd have even less cabin noise with a Marauder. Highly recommend these.

    And some extended the exhaust tip 1/2-1 inch farther out from under the car too.
