Remove the intake, get 3 cans of brake cleaner, and go to town.
Go through a can, brush, then rinse with lot of water, repeat till clean.
Install new upper/lower gaskets (the EGR already burned through the upper)
Cleaned way too many of these over the years!

I started with that step.
I agree, that would be a mess and probably a blown engine afterwards if he doesn't remove the intake manifold
OP, the question I have for you is what are you going to do to prevent it from happening again?
I'm willing to bet you have a pretty good puddle in the base. Thick puddle!
Obviously an oil separator is needed. Who still makes ones that fit Marauders?

New PCV valve, and the best catch can (something bigger than a pill bottle) I could find
Draft42 design may still be in business?
I agree with Travis. Remove and clean. I use a Mishimoto catch can on my PCV. Works great!
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference
I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

This is the exact one I have. You can mount it to the pass inner fender just above the strut. I take a cap from a spray paint can and put it under the drain valve to empty.

With no more brake parts cleaner on hand, the good Lord reminded me that I have plenty of lacquer thinner and easy off oven cleaner... So with that, a West Virginia toothbrush, and sime elbow grease it cleaned up quite well.
