"Flyin Brian"
Just replaced the spark plugs on a 12K mile Town Car and noticed that the tops of the spark plugs had a coating of an orange/red paint on them.
Wondering if anyone has heard of this and if you think it might be evidence of being the original plugs?
I happened to order the same exact Motorcraft plugs to replace them with and they didn't have the paint.

Hahaha, I didn't wanna be that guy but I just did the plugs on my '04 TC with 131K on it. Original plugs. The paint was light blue. Wow?
