What is the part number of the thermostat both times you replaced it? Dealer or Aftermarket?

What procedure did you follow to burp the system?

I got a Murray brand from Oreillys is there a heater valve for this car and if so where is it located I see they supply one for the car but I have yet to see it on my 04 marauder or my 2000 marquis and I’ve completely tore the top off of the marquis before and never seen a heater valve

Also I followed the usual burping system for this as I would for the mgm but instead I cap the reservoir on the marauder and burp it with the crossover plug

Interested in how the system was bled. These cars are nothing like an MGM, they are a lot harder to bleed. I'd advise getting the front end up on wheel ramps or jack stands. Either incomplete bleeding or engine issue, are my guesses. Did you use 50-50% gold coolant?

Other question is are the electric cooling fans coming on? Can you hook up a scan tool and see what the reported temperature is compared to the gauge? They are two different sensors....mine went bad and temp reading was way low to the PCM....not way high like you might think.

The Burping Procedure can be tricky.
I would do this to start off with and go from there:

    a) Install OEM Motorcraft Thermostat Part: RT-1110

    b) Burping Procedure: https://www.reischeperformance.com/refill.html

Get a new coolant tank cap.

Make sure you have a Marauder-specific thermostat nad that it is installed correctly.

Burp the cooling system using the proper procedure.

I would also replace the temperature sender, standard TS376. I had the same problem last year till I replaced it.
    I have plenty for sale.

Be wary of some of the aftermarket thermostats that say they are for the Marauder. If it is also cross referenced as being for the Crown Vic and Grand Marquis, then you know the compatability list is incorrect and it is not for a Marauder. Ask me how I know, lol.
