Just picked up the final piece of the puzzle........ (Hint: It's a Car)

It took 10 years, but the Werner's finally own all four colors of these big old Mercury's. On Wednesday, Mom & Dad purchased a Marauder to replace her wrecked Crown Vic Sport. 2003 Silver Birch, Light Flint, Hardtop car. We bought it from a local friend that had owned it since 23K miles and is a Ford Master Tech. Car now has 192K, but the engine was replaced under warranty around 80K. It has underdrives, 3500 stall, 4.10's, Borla muffs and a tune. Otherwise, everything else on the car is stock. The car is exceptionally clean and well maintained but does have 2 small rust issues. The left front fender needs fixed or replaced, and the right rear wheel opening has a spot that needs repaired but the rest of the paint is in really amazing condition. We are having the tint fixed, replacing the headlights, adding bumper letters and a chin spoiler. I am also trying to talk Mom into letting me cut a coil up front because this thing is a 4x4! Maybe I should just do it and not say a word to her and see if she notices! Anyway, I think this will be a good car for years to come for Dad to drive Ms. Daisy around KC in style.

Very cool! Those seat cover are in really good shape for that many miles. Light flint wears out fast!
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

I’m sure she’ll be really happy! 192,000 means absolutely nothing to these cars if maintained.

If you do cut a coil you may have to do the camber mod to get the front alignment to Carfixers specs. Hope she enjoys the new car!

On all the Marauders I have cut a coil on, knocking the hats off the factory camber bolts and adjusting camber with the factory bolts yields the results needed.

Give therm another 8-10 years to settle. Mine finally needed them badly.
