    *** IMPORTANT ***

I’ve seen no activity or interest in attending Carlisle as a group this year. Tent order is due April 18. $250. Unless at least 15 people/cars chime in and registers between now and then, I will not move forward with a tent. I need at least 15 yeses to make it worth the money. We operate MM.Net on a shoestring and funds are scarce.

Only $250? I would have figured much much more. Hell I’d pay that for just myself if it were closer and oh yeah, actually still had a Marauder.

I’ve paid a lot more for a tiny 10 x 10 Cabana in Florida just for a shady stay at water parks while the kids went off to stand in lines. And that’s per day!

This is so sad...never missed the Ford Nationals since it started decades ago. I used to have a rare Royal Blue Metalic '1993 Taurus SHO, and there was a slow diminish in SHO's year after year. Sadly sold the SHO more than ten years ago to get the 2003 DBP Marauder and started bringing it to Carlisle instead of the SHO, There were so many Marauders at that time it was amazing. To see this thread empty is almost unthinkable. I guess the years are taking a toll on the Marauders, and this year may be a real tell tale on the subject. In the meantime, the Ford Nationals set an all time record last year for attendance/cars in Carlisle history. There's a good chance it may set another record this year. Too bad the Marauders won't have the numbers there used to be.

The increases seen each year are largely driven by late-model Mustangs. All older vehicles are seeing drops in participation unless they happen to be included in one of the special events that's taking place.

I brought my 1970 428 CJ Mach 1 every year up until last year. Each year, I found us getting moved to a smaller, less centrally located part of the show field due to our diminishing numbers. Last year I brought my Lincoln MKZ for the first time. This year it's the Marauder. The change in perspective has made the event a bit more interesting.

Gene, agree with YOU!!!! We also have been attending for years, even before our Marauders.... Will be interesting to see how many Marauders get there.....

It seems that this will be a very interesting year for the 03 and 04 Marauders at Carlisle. Last year we had sufficient numbers to run out of space again. It didn't help that some other cars encroached on our space...I took mine out for a quick run today to make sure things are in good working order for the upcoming road trip. It's about 120 or so miles for me and is just enough to get a good feel for how great the cars feels on the high speed Interstates. Looking forward to seeing my friends and their beautiful cars!

That’s a panoramic shot of the 25-or-so cars that are here. I’m too lazy to take more individual shots.

Ah, ok...just looking at that one pic it looks like there's only 8 or 9 (to me). Glad to hear there was a decent turn out. I didn't see much talk about this event on here, (like there used to be) so was under the impression not many people were going to be there. Yeah, I know facebook blah blah, but I never got into the facebook thing (or any other social media that's popped up since fb)...heck it's not even facebook any more, is it? Meta or something like that...lol.

We had the entire one side of that row, the cars you see in that shot was the stock class, after the tent was the modified class. Behind us was all the 2v panther guys and across from us was a crap ton of Mavericks

Yes, after reading SAH62's reply, I looked at the picture again and surmised there were more MMs lining the road and on past the tent that were being hidden behind the people that were in line of sight of the photo.

I have to agree 100% with Connie, it was good to be with other marauders and having the tent really helped!
