    Vortech V7 Belt slip

So the install of the kit went well . Since i daily the vehicle , belt slip was eventually the challenge . Proper belt sizing took awhile to achieve but finally got down to the correct size needed.

The car has otherwise been running wonderfully and we have been having a blast. About to roll 153k miles.

I’m not telling you what to do, but hammering it under boost and not shutting off the traction control is recipe for disaster.

Looks like you’re shifting at 6500rpm. Curious what boost are you seeing at 6500 with the 3.33 pulley?
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

    Hey p4ndiamond,
I have the same supercharger (V7 JT) on my 03 MM, been up & running with a smaller length (second) belt since august '22, but the car was in storage from oct until just now. I have slip as evidenced by some (not a lot) black rubber powder around the supercharger. I am just about to pull the trigger on an 8 rib conversion, however, it sounds like from your comment in the video that I might be able to get rid of slip with a smaller belt? Curious, could you say the part number and length of your belt? Many thanks
