Has any one had tach show zero at a stop?

Just noticed it today seemed to be running fine but when I stopped at a light I noticed tach dropped to zero. I actually thought it had died it has been running so smooth since I replaced the one bad coil connector. Light turned green and the tach hesitated for a second and jumped back up. Next light did it again. Where does it get the tach signal?

Others have experienced this issue and I know there's a thread (or three) on here about this problem...I suggest google search "marauder tachometer gauge not working" or something similar. IIRC, the issue is the needle itself has become 'loose'...good luck.
