Passenger Seat Stuck Forward: Need Help To Fix

    Hi!
I've had my Marauder for around 10yrs now and I've never moved the seat all the way up. This weekend was the first time I put a baby car seat in. After I removed the car seat I tried moving the seat back and it only moved a short distance. I moved it back forward a few times, and it still went backwards but always stips in the same place. All the other functions work. (Up, down, forward, tilt (both ways)) I looked in the track the best I could, and found nothing. Has this happened to anyone before? Is there a possible way to manually move the seat? I'll take any suggestions.
    Thank You

The only thing I can think of is to push on the seat while holding the back button down to 'help' it move back, maybe? When you say it 'went backwards but stops in the same place', where exactly does it stop? 1/4 way, 1/2 way? Are any of the wire harnesses under the seat catching on anything?

Try tapping on the seat motor?
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

Is the track clear of tiny obstacles and lightly greased?

The motor makes a whole lot of spins for every inch of movement so I doubt a dead spot on the motor armature. As above could there be an obstruction on the seat track? Also, is the seat moving evenly? I believe the seat transmission drives BOTH sides of the seat track and if it wasn't - it would c0ck (haha - it was edited OUT) sideways a bit but not discernable to the eye. You should be able to hook your peepers under there and see where it stops.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I tried all of them with no avail. I'm sure it's something in the track and I'm just missing it. I'm gonna bring it by my buddys to get a fresh pair of eyes on it

Does the marauder seat unbolt from the track so it can be removed and the track stay in place?

I had something similar happen in a Lincoln. Moving the seat all the way forward drove it off the tracks. By raising the seat and pushing back on it while pushing the control switch, it would go back on the track. Not sure if the Marauder seat would be similar, but worth a try.
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:
