Cylinder Head Cooling Mod - what's the best method?

I did a forum search here but it's hard to find all the info in one place. I'm going to be replacing valve seals in my '03 and want to install the cylinder head cooling mod while I have things apart. I'm wondering what the best method is.. I see some kits that thread in on the back of the cylinder heads and also some kits or homebrew solutions that thread into the rear of the intake manifold on both sides. I'm going to be doing this with the engine in the car so I'm wondering how easy it is to access the back of the cylinder heads this way, vs. taking the intake off (I assume) to put the fittings there.

Can someone provide a link to a good resource on this, or provide your own personal experience? Any help would be much appreciated!

After doing a ton of research, I went with the kit that Marty Ochs of Mo's Speed Shop sells, which is the kind that goes into the intake. He supplies all the fittings and hard piping but you have to buy your own heater hose, which is nominal. I've since sold the car and never got a chance to put it on but it was a solid kit from a very reputable Marauder guy in Marty.

I purchased the kit that MMR sells... it hasn't been installed yet but looks well put together and the fittings that go in the back of the heads are double o-ringed.

Good info.. I’ll check out Marty’s kit.

for the kit that plumbs into the back of the heads, can you access it with the engine in the car? it looks pretty tight there

I just bought a Marauder and I just joined this forum. I have no clue how to ask questions or start a post here. I figured out how to respond.

It is unbelievably tight. Like pretty much impossible tight. Hardest part is punching out the freeze plugs from that angle.
I would go from the top of the head instead. Light years easier. Just imho
