    Air compressor/spring question

Back in 2010 I replaced the air suspension compressor because I couldn't hear it running any more. Then the car started sitting lower in 2022 and the air springs were replaced. The car is now sitting more level vs. the rake that it had before and I'm not hearing the compressor again. What is life expectancy of a compressor and do you think that's what I'm looking at to resolve the issue? Thanks.

Could be..my original compressor lasted 15 ish years. Make sure the ride height sensor didn't move. Load the trunk with some weight and turn key on, and open and close door. My system holds air great. Hardly ever turns on,
    Original bags too

Where's the ride height sensor and how can you tell if it's moved or not?

It's on the left side of the watts link you might be able to see where the nut was if it left a mark.

So I put some weight in the trunk, opened and closed the door and heard the compressor run but the ride height didn't change.

Make a mark with a sharpie, where the adjuster is... before you start moving it for reference. If you car bags hold air well (most do) you may not notice the car "move" too much... I loaded 20 cases of beer and three sets of golf clubs and luggage for three guys, and food for a week... and when the BOYZ and I got into the car... that is one of the only times I had really seen it seriously "rise" and even then it wasn't an immediate lift like the awesome low rider kits...

Also, use something (I use my finger) to measure form top of tire to bottom of center lip of wheel arch. And check switch in trunk.

THIS SHOULD GO WITHOUT SAYING>>> DO NOT ADJUST THE NUT WITHOUT SUPPORTING THE FRAME OF THE CAR AND TURN OFF THE AIR SWITCH.
