    Car water leak

Does anyone know of a place that will fix a car water leak in the Atlanta, Georgia area? I hope this is an acceptable post, because the car with the leak isn't my Marauder. (I hope. It's garaged, so I really don't know) My local body shop won't touch it. The windshield people say the windshield isn't leaking, so I've got no place to go.

It's leaking from a body seam in the driver's floorboard. It doesn't look like collision damage, just a failed seam seal. It could be leaking from somwhere else, but I don't see where. My wife insists it is, but I've eliminated the obvious stuff like the door, firewall grommets, etc.

I had a molded grommet for the hood cable split and act like a funnel, the driver's side floorboard was always soaked.

Does it have a sunroof? Sun roof drain lines are notorious for clogging and then leaking in the footwells.
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

You say it is not your Marauder, then what car is it. I would check the door drains. I had a crown Vic sport that had clear tape over them on one door. Get inside car and have someone with a hose spray areas as you search and listen. Don't use a spray nozzle on hose

It's a first gen Honda Fit. We checked the doors, and it isn't coming from there. The water appears on the driver's floorboard, near the firewall. I can see water leaking at one body seam, but it may be leaking from somewhere else. We've use a hose to pour water and looked, and can't find anything.

Fortunately, it doesn't have a sunroof. I avoid sunroofs, and wouldn't dream of buying a "T top" car.

I'll keep an eye on that on my Marauder. You did a great job fixing the damage.
