Get well Video 4 U Marty

Marty, this link below will help entertain you for a few minutes, and perhaps lift your spirit a bit as it it did mine.

I'm posting this so my other Hi-perf car enthusiast friends can enjoy it as well......

I hope the link works, cuz if not, I don't think that Logan would want me to post the vid itself on here since it isn't a Marauder video.

Good. Thanks for confirming that the link worked for you.

BTW, call me crazy, but if anyone knows what heavy metal song that was playing during the vid, and what band that is, then let me know. I'm curious. That sounds like a good song to use for burnout vids.

I've heard that song before, but can not remember the name or the band. Looks like you and Barry have some stiff competition with burnouts. Maybe at MVIII we can have a burnout competition with a prize going to the winner.

    Oh yea, cool video Billy!!

A burnout competition. Yep, I'll participate for sure, just as long as someone promises to get a quality video using some first class video equipment. I'll give ya a good show. That's a promise.

Yep. He had a line lock installed. Only his tail lights are on during his burnouts. If his brake lights were on, then the middle lightbar would be lit up. In one of the burnouts he does, he hit the brakes after finishing the burnout, and you then see the center lightbar go on. That's how you know that only his tail lights were on before that.

    Thanks Dr. C

Jimmy, Line Lock is something that some racers get installed. Speed shops sell line lock kits too. It gives the driver a button that's mounted someplace handy (usually on the shifter). When the line lock button is pressed, it sends hydraulic pressure via the brake lines to the front brake calipers only, so that the front brakes engage completely, w/out the back brakes engaging at all.

The best burnouts can be done using Line Lock, w/out burning up the back brakes at all. (only the tires get burned up ).
