    Been Shopping DTS

I have been shopping for a Cadillac DTS for quite a while. The DTS has the bucket seats and console like the Marauder does of course. I finally bought one after the dealer made the offer so sweet I couldn't refuse it. 300 horsepower Northstar, loaded except the sunroof, one owner (70+ year old gentleman), 27,000 original miles, pretty damn close to excellent condition after the 48 month bumper to bumper warranty fixes a few things that are bugging me.

I, like most people, was looking for a DTS with the woodgrain steering wheel, woodgrain shifter, and moonroof. The one the dealer had didn't have any of the 3 and wasn't a very desirable DTS to most people because of this fact. That's why they cut me such an excellent deal..... $18,000 cash.

    I forgot that, didn't I?

Just couldn't justify paying $55,000 for a new one.

I dunno. I've never heard of A/C in seats. It does have heated seats front & rear though.

I've had the Deville, the DHS & the DTS and they are really great cars. The DHS was my favorite. The nice thing about it is if the factory warr. is on it Caddy they treat you really good. Alot better than Mercury or Ford. Good luck with you new ride!

They didn't have them on that year. They started putting ac in the later years.

Damn sure do. I just found it in the 2004 and 2005 brochures. That has to be one heck of a trick to accomplish. I suppose it's air cooled.

Let me see....... what's the choice? For $55,000 I could buy a new DTS with air conditioned seats. Or I can keep mine without.

I think I will keep mine. The air conditioned seats make as much sense as the heated steering wheel does.
