1990 Mercury Grand Marquis GS
1990 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4
Neighbor!
Stock, on a Dynojet most folks get about 242 (SAE corrected)
On a Mustang dyno, I have heard of higher numbers but not sure what they were.

What #'s does a MM make on a chassis dyno?
Everything it can...LOL!
Early reports and almost two years old now, boasted of 240 RWHP, 255 RWTQ. We used these early numbers to build on, but things are a bit more dicey today. Due to our "'04 bone stock numbers," I suspect that 250 RWHP and 260 RWHP are a bit more "normal" in our '04 expectations.
The '04 specs reflect upgrades we can feel in our seat of our pants, yes. Nonetheless, '04 specs are up, but not greatly. 11.25" torque converter over an 11.00". Dual knock sensors and expanded EEC with greater timing "elbow room," when there was none of that two years ago. Updated tranny gearing to the point where FMC renamed it a "4R75W," but this gear change is minork, and not worthy of the rebuild costs. Add all this up, and the '04 MM is hotter on the dyno, than the '03.
Please don't try any '03 at the stoplight, owners are much wiser now.
