    4 new BF Goodrich tires

I just bought 4 new rear tires from Tire Rack for 79.00 Each. What a Deal!

I figure that with the blower the rears won't last long.

Does anyone have a photo of the Rears mounted on all fours?

ANy problems with mounting the rear tire size up front?

I went thru some old threads but did not see anything.

    Thanks in advance,

    Maraudernkc

I suggest you have 'em mounted and checked on a Road Force Machine, now, just to make sure all 4 of 'em are OK. They only need to use one rim. That way if anything's wrong with one of 'em, Tire Rack will take the bad one(s) back. If you wait, and find out later, there's a problem, they're gonna tell you to pound sand. We have recant experience with Tire Rack where 2 of 4 tires were way out of spec. and had problems returning them.

I ran the "backs" on all four corners for a while, dealer screw up in ordering. I am pleased with Tire Rack, just bought 4 myself, no problems (it's only two days, but I don't anticipate any either.) The burnout photo in my gallery is with the "rears" on all four corners. Not a good look at them, but it's all I have. I believe others here are running the same. I had no problems while I was waiting for the correct size for the fronts, just didn't care for the look. I kind of like the "rake" with the factory setup.

When in doubt, GAS IT! This will either fix the problem, or end the suspense.

I have the rear size on all four corners: no problems. Teamrope took a photo of his car which has the stock tire sizes and my car nose to nose so people could see the difference. Check in the photo gallery.

I have a local dealer here who does his best to match the tire rack price when I take a print out of the screen into his shop.

Buying local is good for our local economy and I like the shop owner.

This also provides a local recourse in the case of problems.

    Best Regards,

    David

We're pleased with tire Rack, and still buying tires from them. You guys are missing the point, which is: There's no problem with Tire Rack, but there COULD be a problem with the tires. If you don't install the tires right away, and get them checked with a Road Force machine, even if you take them back off and store them, by the time you learn of a problem, six months from now, Tire Rack's not going to be happy, and you're going to end up dealing with the manufacturer. That's what happened to us, and was way more fun than we wanted to have.

I calle TireRack and your right you only have a 30 Day guarntee. I had to cancel mine because they are just spares and wont be put on for awhile. Thanks for the heads up. I want to support the site but if you buy from TireRack.com put them on withing 30 Days.

Thanks Greg, I was starting to think I was gonna get shot for flaming a vendor, which wasn't my intention, nor what I said. I was pushing Road Force, not complaining.

I still think you should buy the tires, 'cause it's a heck of a deal, just take a rim to someone who has a Road Force machine and make sure they're OK, then store 'em.
