    Looking for interor part...not MM

Well seems I can't get the Marauder gauge holder without the whole dash anymore(funny thing is I found a part numebr that is no longer available!) I figure I could use the one off the LX sport and modify it

    it is in this pic

anybody know how to find a part ##???

    thanks

    I'm confused...(no news there)

Are you talking about the gauge panel that sits just north of the shifter, or the main gauge panel with the speedo, etc...?

yah, that's what I thought you meant...

So Ford won't sell just the gauge panel separately? Bummer...I'll have to be extra careful when I remove mine to put in the "real" O.P. gauge...

Sorry I can't help you, BigBad...but there are people on this board WAY smarter than me, so one of them will have the answer!

I hope so, seems that if you knew the part number befor MM was released it was an individual part, but... once the car came out it became part of am asembly...

You gonna put a mechanical OP in? or a autometer electric? I am confused? but either way I hope someone can help i have the gauges and all i just need someplace stock (looking) to put them!

BBVic: I didn't think there WAS any such part before the MM...I thought it was specific to the Marauder only.

If Ford won't sell the part separately, you may be SOL as far as "stock looking" goes...

Anyway, yes I have the "real" AutoMeter gauge and sender to put in...it looks almost identical to the fake one Ford conned AutoMeter into building for them.

From what I was told it was when the marauder was in pre-release, so all the parts were made, and in existance, but the cars were either not built/not delivered....

I figured I can modify the LX sport piece to hold the gauges easy enough, just need to get it..

Thanks for clearing up the gauge thing you had me confused, yeah the autometer OP looks just about identical, I stock them all the time, they are nice piece I used to have one in my lincoln....

AutoMeter makes a real nice stack for the A pillar, one, two or three gauges, and right where they'll work the best.

BigBad: I though I saw a wrecked MM listed here a while back (in the last 30 days??). Maybe that guy will let you scrap his center stack from his car?????

What part number did you try to get? I just upgraded my gauges and noted the part number on the housing was 3W3D-5404810-A.

Most likely if the # was on it it is the Engineering number not the part#
