'"It sends the wrong message to children, that it's OK to harm animals. And that's the wrong message, especially from a so-called wholesome corporation like Kraft," said society spokesman Matthew Stanton.'

That's just a load of bull crap. Just because the food looks like it's been run over means I'm going to go run over a deer or something. People are getting too hypocritical about some of the smallest things now. It's probably going to get so bad that people are going to sue just for doing something nice. It's getting WAY too out of hand.

    He..he he...he he he... Let's BURN something...

    Remember Beavis and Butthead ?
The same thing was said of the antics they portrayed on television.
But telling your kids its only television wasn't enough...

    Same thing here.
Its only candy, and if you are feeding your kids right,
they aren't going to eat the stuff anyway...
    Pete...

Reminds me of the animal rights whackos who are all pissed off that the Fish and Game officers shot a 450lb tiger that was roaming through a Los Angeles suburb this past week. Now it is in cold storage at an "undisclosed location" to avoid the protesters. Lunacy. Instead have a $1,000 per plate Tiger barbeque and auction off the hide to raise funds for the zoo. It would sell out!

This is already happening, I heard the other day that some lady sued (and recieved a judgement in her favor) two young girls for baking her cookies and putting them on her doorstep with a nice card. Apparently the girls had stayed at home at night instead of going to some big party, and baked cookies for all the neighbors. The old lady claimed that when the girls rang the doorbell she became scared that it was someone trying to kill her and had a panic attack, which caused her to have to go to the hospital. The jury felt the girls should have known that knocking on someones door after sundown could be interpreted as someone trying to cause harm, and the girls had to pay the old ladies medical bill. HOW MESSED UP IS THAT?!

This is proof positive that no good deed goes unpunished!

I'm not offended by this, however I think the concept is pretty stupid. Kid's eat this junk, right? What if a kid suffered the loss his dog because the dog got hit by a car? I think Kraft could have done better....

Geeeze...."Dead Skunk In THe Middle Of The Road" Nearly forgot about that musical classic from the early seventies perfromed by some mental case lookin guy named Louden C. Wainwright III. "Crossing the highway late one night, he didn't look left and he didn't look right, he didn't see the station wagon car, the skunk got squashed and there you are...etc". They don't write em like that anymore. BILL
