If you want to keep the rake and proper front/rear ratio, 245/40-20 front and 275/40-20 rear. This will keep roughly the same height as stock.Originally Posted by ggt4
You could go with 245/45-20 or 255/45-20 rear but a matching front in 245/40-20 will have to be a different brand.
I hear the Chrysler 300c SRT-8 will have 245/45-20 front and 255/45-20 rear.
2003 Mercury Marauder - 300A (Born 9/02, Purchased 1/16/04)
- 1 Coil Cut Off Front Springs & Rear Air Suspension Lowered
- PIAA Xtreme White 9007's
- Red Reflective "MARAUDER" Inserts
- JLT Performance Intake
- Accufab Throttle Body
- SCT-1725 Tuned
- Borla Mufflers
Lets do the math:
Front Tires
235/50R18 28.2" Tall, and goes 716 Revolutions/Mile
245/40R20 27.7" Tall, and goes 728 Revolutions/Mile
Rear Tires
245/55R18 28.6" Tall and goes 705 Revolutions/Mile
275/35R20 27.6" Tall And Goes 731 Revolutions/Mile
So the rear 'dubs' with tires are shorter than the front ones, only by 1/10 of an inch, but overall an inch shorter than factory rears. A nono if you have an 04.....
