air suspension adjustment help

    Hi,

I saw on a previous tread that it's possible to lower the rear suspension by sliding the bracket attached to the tracking arm.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

I proceeded as specified by the procedure, meaning, loosing the nuts of the bracket and sliding it IN THE DIRECTION OF THE PASSENGER SIDE (to lower the car).

Unfortunatly, the car raised up about 3/4 of an inch. Since i forget to put the trunk switch at off, i decided to wait 2-3 days for the suspension to settle but it didn't move from it's new position.

Before i fool around again (!). i would have a question:

Is it possible that that the bracket must be slided IN THE DIRECTION OF THE DRIVER to effectively lower the car ? (I understand, giving the results, this would seem obvious but, looking at the underside bracketry, the logic seem to be pointing to sliding the bracket toward the passenger side).

    Thanks for your consideration. Regards

The bracket needs to slide towards the drivers door to lower the rear.

    Cheers!

I just updated it to correct the instructions. I corrected another thread that referenced this one awhile back but forgot about this one. Sorry 'bout that, folks!

And after reading the info in that link, it mentioned using a 7/16 socket. That's a no-no. Everything on the Marauder is Metric. IF I remember correctly, I think it requires an 11 mm and a 7 mm socket to loosen TWO adjustment nuts.

    That's a metric 7/16.

Rest area, rest home -- what difference does it make? I'm sure Grandma enjoyed seeing all those big trucks pulling in and out.
