    Silly Woman

So there I was. Following my wife home late lat night---she in her Carribbean Blue G35 sedan and I in my DTR MM. My wife is always afraid of hitting a deer at night so she never drives over 35mph. We entered the entrance ramp of I75 and in a flash she was gone! What in the world was she thinking? Then it accurred to me that she thought she was 17 again driving her 1972 Mach 1. I punched the MM for the first time and boy was I surprised. Hit 80 in a heartbeat. She must have thought that I was not interested in racing because she backed of the G35. Bad move. Darn near ran the MM up her tail pipes. I can see me explaining to the insurance company how I totaled 2 $30,000 cars. But it was fun.

That would have been rather embarrassing ... not to mention expensive too !!! Did you ever find out why she backed off the gas so quickly??

Good run my man...did you happen to leave the "Overdrive" off when you punched it up? If so, you really felt it run like it should. It feels like a freight train when it pulls.

Rest area, rest home -- what difference does it make? I'm sure Grandma enjoyed seeing all those big trucks pulling in and out.

    Mister Rickie,
I scared the crap outta myself the first time I floored the Marauder merging on to the interstate. Did it again a few minutes later changing lanes to pass slower traffic. Both times came close to eating smaller cars for lunch. Gotta love those 4 wheel disc brakes! I was used to driving a 2001 Crown Vic. Peppy, but not hard acceleration like the Marauder. Had to floor it (the Crown vic) and hold it down for a while. I can't imagine how the guys with modified Marauders keep from running over slower traffic.

Beware the beast that lives under the hood. The open highway is where he prefers to come out to feed upon the unsuspecting.

The Marauder is truly an awesome car. Welcome to the epicenter of the Marauder universe.
