    Wheel Speed Gear Swap

Has anyone looked into swapping the gears (or whatever device it is that sends the wheel speed to the wheel sensors) in the MM with a set from a CV? Does anyone have any info on this?

If it were possible to do this it seems to me that it might make things a lot easier on those of us who want to put aftermarket tires on the car.

The Speedometer and ABS/Traction Control all share the wheel speed sensor rings.
The signels are sent to the computer then to the speedo.
The wheel sizes are programmed into the computers,I believe the wheel sensors are all the same,MM/GM/CV.

There are speed sensors in the tranny that send signals to the EEC too.

Dan, I don't think this is going to be an easy shortcut to correct your speedo, too many sensors on duty. But, I know it can be done with SCT software, Zack has been able to dial in my speedo after a trie swap.
