    noob here!

hello all. just thought i'd say hi and introduce myself.
looks like i found another place to sit and waist several hours a day
this looks like a great board and i hope i will come awy from here with some valuble info on these great cars. i currently own a 93 lightning, which i love very much and have blast driving every day. however i have always had a soft spot for the crown vic/grand marquis. i have owned used ones before and found them to be very reliable and quite a joy to drive. well yesterday i went by our local LM dealer and looked at a marauder. wow! i want one, bad. i'm thinking about selling my lightning and buying one of these bad boys! they've got ten in stock at ten k off sticker. that's 24,800! when they're gone they're gone. talk me into it guys!

Welcome! Do tell where new, not used Marauders are available at $24,800.
Be specific please, dealership and salesperson's name.
If I were you at that price I'd buy before the dealership closes it's doors.

    Best,

    Paul

At that price, why would you need to be talked into it?

At that price, why do they still have 10 in stock?

Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.

    WELCOME CHRIS!

Let us know if you buy......my god that's a good price.
I recieved envy for my 26-5 post. Many who are waiting would likely make the trip for that price.

Out of boredom and curiousity I looked for L/M dealers in KC,Mo.,found one that had 6 Black MM's in stock,ALL 300A's.As far as options,1 had the cd changer, none had the trunk organizer, no other options were shown on the stickers, prices posted were MSRP,which of course means nothing. Dealer name was something or another Towne Motors. Could they be the one mentioned above?

thanks guys. maybe i shouldn't have mentioned the price right away, but i had no idea what they were going for. and yes the sticker was 35 and some change and it had a big sticker on it saying 10k off! also the salesman told me point blank that they couldn't move 'em and they had to go! i have no idea why, but kc seems to be an suv city so go figure.
in order to buy one of these gems i will have to first sell my lightning as i cannot afford both. and that might be a challenge in it self seeing how soft the economy is right now. but i really really want one. it looks like a chip and set of 4:10's will do quite a bit for these things so i'm ready. i just gotta sell the L. now, back over the nloc board to post a for sale thread.
