I don't know if I have a program that will. In the meantime, I'm sure I can copy and send if anybody has an immediate need for specific information. If so, PM. (some of the files are Acrobat)

Found this information. I don't think anyone has posted this before?

The vehicle identification number (VIN) is a seventeen-digit combination of letters and numbers. The VIN is stamped on a metal tab riveted to the instrument panel, top upper left of the dash. The VIN number is also found on the vehicle certification (VC) label.

    <table border="1" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0"> <tbody> <tr> <th align="center" valign="bottom">Item </th> <th align="center" valign="bottom">Description </th></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">1 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">World manufacturer identifier (WMI) </td></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">2 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">Restraint type code </td></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">3 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">Vehicle line and series code </td></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">4 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">Engine code </td></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">5 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">VIN check digit </td></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">6 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">Model year code </td></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">7 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">Assembly plant code </td></tr> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top">8 </td> <td align="left" valign="top">Production sequence number </td></tr></tbody> </table>

The links won't work for me either, is it possible to get copies made, or give an address where we can obtain them?

Sounds like this info is kinda generic, no? Since when was there any recalls done on Marauders? Did I miss something?

It's pretty comprehensive. I got it on e-bay, I don't know if he has more. The link describes what's on it. Up until 2002 these were cd format. For 2003 Ford switched to dvd. I have cd's for other older models, F150, Taurus. They have come in handy numerous times.

So according to your first post, you're claiming that there's been a recall on Marauders, uh? That's funny, because I thought that I'd be notified in the mail of a recall IF that was the case. I know there was atleast one TSB, for the axles, but I've never heard of a recall.

The dvd covers all Mercury and some Ford models. The headings are generic, they apply to all the models. There is not a recall for MM.

Okay PJR. That's what I thought, but I wasn't positive. Thanks for your reply, and for this info.

This is one of many times I've read about this. I have not seen it at all.
I've seen 9 others. Not one on the axles.
