Well, as many of you know, I traded in my 04 Marauder (4920 miles) for a new 2006 Corvette Z06. As my wife and I were leaving the dealership we saw the used car mgr and the salesman get in the Marauder. They couldn't wait to take it out for a spin. Well being a couple of jerks, they stopped at the dealers gas pump and proceeded to fill the tank with low octane regular gas. They proceeded up I95 flooring at, and at about the 2nd to 3rd gear shift it threw a rod through the side of the block
At any rate, the car was sold as is at the Ft. Laud car auction this week for $14,000. The dealer, Phil Smith Chevrolet, took about a $15,000. hit on this deal.
Just like a CHEVY DEALER to mess up a good FORD.
