    Unhappy Intermittent stall

This has happened twice since November of 05. After making a turn at an intersection at low speed and straightening up to move forward, the car stalls. It cranks right back up and continues as if nothing is wrong. Performance is as usual except for these 2 instances. Any ideas?

I think the dealer gets $70.00 or so??

I'm on my 3rd one now...they need to redesign the thing!!

I had the IAC go bad on a 2000 F150 I had, but it acted diferently. It would not stay running without having the accelerator pressed slightly.

Did your's do the exact same as mine? just died and then after restart everthing was good?

I had the PCV changed back in Nov. Was trying to see if that could be a culprate. Or maybe EGR? What do ya think, still the IAC?

    sleeper,

    I tried TBS.....EGR....and IAC.....The IAC fixed it!!

Mine seems to be very sensitive to Idle Air with the blower and the idle would run up and down and eventually stall...New "Ford" IAC fixed mine.

I just took one off and put a new one on to see if it would make any difference and it didn't that I can tell......I can send you one to try if you like?? I keep one on hand and get a good deal on them from my dealer!! If it works for you we can settle up...if not just return it to me??

How much gas was in your tank? Not a good idea to run the car lower than a 1/4 full with Ford's pump design. 00-01 Focus were recalled because of this issue.
