I talked to him last week. He said he still does not have the curvature for the deck lid worked out the way he wants it. Gotta say he is a perfectionist!

I have repainted mine. Removed the badge from the grill. Repainted it with a good quality black spray paint. Used a rag dampened with acitone to wipe off the paint from the high areas, leaving the recessed area looking new.

This is what I was going to do, except I thought of adding a few coats of clearcoat afterwards. Couldn't hurt.

Are you thinking of clearcoat on the whole thing or just the black part? Wonder if it would help prevent rock marks in the clear part?

I meant the whole thing but I'd have to ask around about what to use. (i.e. what's best)

So does Daniel yet Still have the REar ready to be sold?
    I'm Ready!
    I like their emblems.

Once I bought a very large Indian Head Nickel from one of those television adds. This would make a nice buckle. I saw another marauder emblem once. Looked WAY too big. No Marauder name or Mercury name. Just MHO = I didnt like it!

    No need for work lights.

Digital cmos and film is more sensitive than you know.

Setting your camera's white balance to cloudy, and bumping the ISO up to 400+ up to 1600 in conjunction with a monopod or tripod, will allow you to shoot well into dusk without flash.

If I'm gonna go get a tripod, I might as well get a light!

Actually, I did buy a digicam that allows me to change the settings like this because I have done photography work in the past.

I just don't use it when my hands are dirty.

If I was submitting it for publication -- sure. However . . .
