    Pan Gasket

For those of you that have dropped the pan, have you replaced the
gasket or been able to reuse the old one?

    Rule is always change gaskets...
the rubber style gaskets can be re-used
and in most instances you will not have
    a problem...

The transmission pan gasket on the 4R70W is designed to be re-useable...it even says so right on the pan itself. It should be good for at least a half-dozen uses...

I've reused mine four times now - the last time when I installed the B&M cast aluminum pan. No leaks, no runs, no errors!

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.
