    UPR X-pipe

I know that the X-pipe of choice is the Magnaflow 93335, but searching the web for prices I ran into this pipe @ uprproducts.com. It says its for the 2004 Mustang GT/Cobra. Aren't the DOHC engines wider than the SOHC?:

It doesn't say whether it's SS or not, but it's less expensive than the Magnaflow. It's also shaped a little different coming out of the headers. Is there any reason why this one wouldn't work in the same way the Magnaflow does?

I believe the Cobra has different exhaust manifolds than the GT, so the same pipe will not fit both.

I don't see why it would not fit with the cobra manifolds, Mike. If it's designed to fit the 03-4 Cobra like the Magnaflow setup, you'd probably be ok. i'd imagine there would still be some extending to be done. It looks like the O2 sensor bungs are there.
Just make sure it's for the stock Cobra manifolds. Or aftermarket headers if that's how you plan to go.

They might just show one pics for ease of simplicity. Probably when you order they would ask(I hope) what vehicle you have. I too have thought about this product but I'm either going with a custom 2.5" H-pipe or this one of these from MAC performance.

Do any of these setups above bolt up to the stock manifolds? Or do you need the cobra manifolds to make it all work?

If they are made for Mustangs you can't bolt them to the MM Manifolds. You will need the Cobra manifolds.

    Rich,

This would be used with the DR manifolds that I hopefully will be buying from merc. It seems like a pretty good deal as it's approx. $200 less than the MF from what I've seen. I'm going to do some more research...
