    OEM Rims or Widened?

I ran 15K and 30+ runs down the track on OEM rear rims and Nitto DR 305's. Yes, it can be done.

Obviously it is safer and better traction on widened rims.

The KDW II are back on the rear.

Are you saying you put 305s on the stock rear wheel?

WOW, I did not think that was possible. I guess tire size/wheel size is a "guideline" not hard and fast rule.

This might open some more tire options for me.

It's possible but highly un-recommended. You are putting some very nasty stresses on the sidewall, and taking a pretty big risk.

Not trying to be a party pooper, but I would NOT do this and ever give someone a ride in my car. That's just too big for our rim width...whether or not it works is one thing, is it safe is another. You're really stressing the engineering of a tire, and you'll probably see different results with different tires.

I'm not disagreeing that it worked, but I think it's agreeable that it's not safe.

6-piston superlite caliper up front with a 13.1" rotor. 4-piston superlite caliper in back with 13.1" rotor

Currently Hawk HPS pads in the front and Wilwood T pads for the rear. On the road course I change to Wilwood H (front) and E (rear). I LOVE MY H PADS

    It is great.

Overkill for the street, but it is great on the track. This last session I was able to go in deeper, braker harder than ever. It is great to have confidence in your brakes.

The bling factor on the street is also very nice
