    Tune Sharing ?

Are we able to share SCT tunes via interned download???

    The reason I ask is:

I am about ready to re-install my JLT CAI. My car has been running very well w/o it, but I have been assured the BOG I experience WITH it is a tuning isusue.

I know most of us have had great success with this mod, but I am a bit behind the curve and could use a hand.

If someone has a tune that works well on a MAV2 SCT, JLT CAI and no other mods, can it be sent and shared????

I have my timing advanced +4 and as lean as I can go with tuner perameters.

I have not yet installed the 4.10's or Steeda UD.....

    What say ye?

I'm under the impression that tunes which are written to something like an SCT xcalibrator are vehicle specific. Meaning that it will only work with the vehicle that it originally tuned.

Only the tuner is "VIN Locked" but the tunes are usable as long as they are for the right EEC code and the right format.....In Joe's case "MAV2"??

Why not just call your tuner and get a new mail order tune for your current setup?

I have several tunes in a folder on my computer but they are for my computer code and wouldnt work if I was to mail them to you.
Your best bet is to contact your tuner and have him send you one through e-mail.
BTW, You must be a gambling man by leaning your engine out like that!
