    MM headed to the Doctor

Well after 3 fun months my ride has to go to the body shop. I got nailed by a red light runner Saturday night, looks like it isnt too awful bad. But we all know looks can be decieving.

Sam - Sorry about the accident. Hope there were no injuries.
Looks like a door and a fender to be replaced and probably some cowl damage.
You'll be back on the road in no time.

    Thumbs down

No injuries and no air bags thankfully. Just a lot of mangled sheetmetal. I have to say, "I didnt feel a thing" so to speak. The car crashed admirably

If they change the door, you might lose the door tag. See if they could cut it and save it for you.

Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

Sam, I was in a very similar accident last week. Only I got hit by a guy pulling out right at red light and I hit him with my passenger side. His fault as well, and his insurance is fixing up the Marauder. Very similar damage from the picture, only mine is further back. And you are right, the car crashes well as I felt nothing from the accident.

Roy its interesting you mention that. This car has no sticker which leads me to believe it previously had body work. I've heard you can get another from Ford but wouldnt know where to start...

I wish that I could get my door tag, also. I work for a dealer and I have no clue on how to get one.

Well its been quite a ride. I think it will be ready toward the end of this week. Still needs to be assembled, buffed out, shipped to the alignment shop and detailed but things are looking up! I uploaded a few shots from this weekend...everything is painted.

Been there and it is definetely no fun... The exciting part is getting your car back and having it look great! Hang in there as it looks like it is almost finished.

She was hurt pretty bad. But the pics of the painting look really good, look like they are taking care of the MM.
