Haven't seen it either, but the 03 Marauder is on it's way to be the lowest produced Marauder yet.

Low production will help the Marauder keep it's value. Hopefully it will appreciate invalue in the near future.Originally posted by merc406

plan on selling? I too would like to see the value appriciate, just so I can brag, but I hate to sell car. It becomes like my Girlfriend (without all the nagging). Even if the car became worth $1,000, 000 I dont think Id have the heart to sell (i know im pathetic)
Delorean...I am with you....
When I bought my F150 I knew someday I would sell it.....but the day I bought this....I said I will run it until the wheels come off....maybe even have it painted once or twice....Mods etc.....Personally for bragging rights it would be cool just to say hey I own a Marauder....but the value etc...I could really care less...the dang thing is just a great car.....
Is this Collectible car mag something you can pick up at a bookstore or what...I would like to see it...
I read the article in Collectible Auto magazine. Standard write up with a mention of collectibilty status in 20 years....maybe

Collectible Automobile magazine is available at most bookstands where other car mags are sold. I've seen the article. I remember when my Impala was new and there was talk about it's demise (in fact it was known by then which was 1995), Collectible Automobile did an article similar to the Marauder one. The only mentioned the 1994-1995 cars though. Perhaps it wasn't known the details of the '96 at that point.
I know the Marauder will be collectible anyway. It's pretty obvious. It's got Roadrunner Superbird syndrome; they were slow sellers new but people kill for them now.
I am in for the long haul. The MM is a keeper.Originally posted by DLoreanMARAUDER

Somehow, I just don't think that the MM will ever reach Superbird status. I think that the car will have collectability in the future, but how much remains to be seen. Is this the last (and only) year of production? Part of me would like to own one of a very few produced. Another part of me would like to see at few years of production, just to get name brand recognition. Then again, part of me wants to park it in a humidity controlled garage for 20 years, and part of me wants to WOT it every night! We are supposed to learn from the past, but I never bought shares of Microsoft or Starbucks 10 years ago, so why should I park my MM in cold storage now?
Does anyone know how many Impala SS cars were built? They seem to have become collectible and go for near new price in super shape. The MM is the same class of car and I am thinking will follow suite. It would be nice to see our cars in the 18,000-20,000 dollar range in 15 years. Of course miles will be a factor as it is with the Impala.
