I keep all my old parts... except for the ones Jim Lambert has, he'll send his takeoffs back to me when he's ready. Then, I'll keep them.

I have kept the takeoffs so far, but finding them in my utility room might be another matter.

[new owner] so are the factory oil pressure and voltage gauges completely decorative, or just inaccurate enough to be useless? someone opined that the voltage gauge is actually useful? still adjusting to the car, I've only had it for a week... [/new owner]

The stock volt meter is fine. Actually, for me it was more accurate than the replacement volt meter which reads about 0.5 volts high. The replacement oil pressure gauge is necessary if you care to actually know your oil pressure. The stock one is simply an on-off switch, always 0 or about 65.

    ^^^what jonroe said^^^

96Diamond, the OEM oil pressure gauge is a glorified idiot light. AutoMeter makes a replacement kit (#4327) that matches the OEM gauge during the day, but at night the face is perimeter lit, as opposed to the OEM backlighting. The sender (included in the kit) needs to be swapped also. There's a how-to in the reviews section...thanks to Wes (wchain).
