    Oil Temp vs Coolant Temp?

Anybody measured the oil temperature? How does it compare to the coolant temperature?
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:
$1800 and it was worse than when he started!

    My observations:

Normal Oil temperature runs @ 180 degrees*.

Normal Coolant temperature @ 205 degrees**.

Both are using real Autometer gauges.

*Oil temperature sensor is mounted down next to the OEM Oil pressure sensor port.

**Coolant temperature sensor is mounted in the threaded hole under the intake manifold...in what would be the 'lifter gallery'.

It takes about 10 miles on the highway for my oil temp to get normal.
