    OK Dan, here's the answer to your test ....

    The Black Marauder from Detroit and the DTR from Miami would meet at a point between St. Matthews, SC and Orangeburg, SC somewhere near the intersection of I-26 and Burke Road (SC Route 22). That's 755.31 miles south of Detroit, MI and 606.69 miles north of Miami, FL. Assuming no stops for food, gas, and ugh whatever (yeah right), the meeting time would be 6:30 PM. Assuming an equal allowance of 1 hour for quick stops only for each driver, then the meeting time would be at 7:30 PM.

    I would recommend the truck stop off Burke Road, since it seems to be the only establishment around those parts.

    Do I get a prize???

    Congratulations Paul on getting your own Forum.

    Have fun with the "button".

    Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

    MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

    Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:

    See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

    IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

    Congratulations

    Paul,
    Glad to hear this came to a good resolution. If fact, this is the best thread I've seen in a while. Good people making good decisions, I'm lovin' it.

    Charlie,
    I just want to know how many libations it took to come up with that answer? No wait, I don't want you to have to that advanced math function on your calculator again. Haggis, do we have anymore George Forman grills for Charlie's prize?

Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.

    Yah, he hosed dat one fer sure, it ain't "upper", it's "Yooper".
    For those of you unfortunate enough to have never lived in Michigan, the state consists of 2 peninsula's, the Upper (UP, say it like "You Pee") and the Lower. The peninsulas are connected by one of the longest suspension bridges in the world, the Mackinac (in Michigan, the "Big Mac"), SO... and for your edification...
    U.P = Upper Peninsula=Yooper
    L.P = Lower Peninsula=Troll
    "Trolls" are Trolls because they live "under Da Bridge".

    And yes, though I was born in Petosky, much of my family is from, and lives in The Soo... Errr Whadya call it down dere? Oh right! Da Sault Ste. Marie

    No we don't Shaun, but we might be able to come up with a consolation prize.
