2003 Mercury Marauder Production Predictions By Exterior And Interior Colors

    Hello,

I is my understanding that the final day to possibly order a 2003 Mercury Marauder has now past and that the last one will thus be built in approximately one month from now. As such, here are my predictions, from the most numerically common to the least numerically common, of the final production order of these fine cars:

    Black exterior with charcoal interior
    Blue exterior with flint interior
    Blue exterior with charcoal interior
    Black exterior with flint interior
    Silver exterior with flint interior
    Silver exterior with charcoal interior

I'd be interested to learn if you agree or disagree and, if the latter, the order you predict.

    Thank you,

    Zane

I just want to make sure I understand correctly. You are only referring to the 2003 Production.

You don't have any secret insider info in regards to the 2004 Production, do you?

I don't want to throw you Post off topic, but I just want to make sure, I didn't miss anything.

As of now official word from Mercury is, they are still planning on building 2004. Anyone try to order a 2004 yet?

I'll start a new thread for this sorry.

I agree on your order of builds.

Why would they still be taking orders for 03's when there are still so many on dealer lots.

They won't tell the Customer that they have them sitting on the lot. I believe someone posted somewhere, that the official Mercury last date to order MM 2003's was 6/15/03.

That is from Mercury. The Dealer would certainly take an order, if they can sell one for List price. I'm sure the Dealer would not bargain on the price if you order one. (Note: on the ad's they always say "Price and rebate valid only from Dealer Stock")
All pricing info you find on here is referring to Dealer inventory. Those you can bargain and get great pricing on.

Not sure on the date. Just taking a wild guess.

Let's not sidetrack ZANE's thread too much.

Start a new thread, if you want more info!

re-thread from Sarge regarding EOQ vehicles delivered. Does vehicles delivered mean customers who purchased them or is it the total produced?

When I was in St Thomas last week, they were gearing up for the 2004. In fact, they had a silver 2004 in the ultra inspection room, unfortunately I couldnt get to it to look it over, tour guide gave some basic info, but nothing in depth.

Sarge's info was for sales through 31 March, 2003.

I would think it would be at least 5,000 for the year.

I still say Ford should think that is good for a special car. They are fine with only producing 6,500 2003 Mach 1s, for instance, and no one says much about 2003 Cobra sales. A local Ford SVT dealer just advertised that they still have 14 '03 Cobras in stock.

Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.
