    AutoMeter gauge pods...

Okay, wasted a bit of today trying to see about parts and other ideas...

A M now has three-pod pillar mounts...wanted to research which one would be good for our cars...no one in my area has any.

Steering wheel single gauge pod...no go either. And this is actually for the F150 ? Not sure..guide me please.

    2 1/16th angle rings...ditto !

I shoulda just stayed at the house and polished my rims...

When I had my CV I was researching the whole gage thing, I found the steering colum gauge pod, I know where to get it at but not sure if it will work on the MM. I assume that it would. Not sure if I can post the link on here or not. Do to other venders. So if someone says I can let me know. otherwise I can pm you the link. Jason

Not sure what you meant by this...no one local carries them or...?

I got mine from Jeg's...I think. My local AZ can order anything from AutoMeter, so I might have gotten them there.

Sorry I can't help you with the 3-gauge pod or the steering wheel pod, but I seem to recall someone saying the s/w pod for the F150 almost fits...just needs a little massage to work.

AFAIK, none will fit AS IS.

However, the ABS Plastic forms well when heated. Keep in mind...it CAN melt.

I did a mod like this for a Boost Gauge. It was NOT for me. It currently sits in the garage

I was having problems posting the picture of the Pod on M.M.net so I uploaded it to my site. It seems to fit but I had to hold down the POD with a little hand pressure.

    Yup.

That is the same one I used.

It is because of the "hump" on the steering column. A Heat Gun or a Blow Torch MAY solve the problem. I chost the cutting route.

Call me if you want too....

21.8s 1/4 mile! You may want to invest in some performace mods! (J/K) Looks like a fun toy. I would propably be inclined to test it at every streetlight,

I was thinking about the column pod, but now am having second thoughts - I didn't realize there was the gap on the right-hand side like that...

What are some other mounting locations? I haven't seen any A Pillars, and don't want to cut the cigarette lighter out. Any one done anything different?

I'm loving my AeroForce gauge I bought for the Lightning! I'm getting one for the Marauder, as soon as I can work out details on a custom startup screen and decide color.
