    flowmasters onto stock exhaust

    I have a set of 2.5" flowmasters.
what reducers do i need? how much extra pipe for added length?

    I think i need 2"-2.5" reducers and 2.25"-2.5" reducers.
do i need 2" ID or OD to mate to the stock H pipe? same question goes for the catback. 2.25" ID or OD?

I believe you want OD pipe to mate to the mufflers.

    This may answer your question.
    Stock system pipes -OD measures
    Manifold to CAT1 = 2 1/4 "
    CAT1 to CAT2 = 2 1/2 "
    H pipe = 2 " all
    Muffler to Tips = 2 1/4 "

I can't recall if there is a slight bend in the extended mid pipes though. Do you have access to a pipe bender?

I wasn't trying to insinuate you pay someone else, but more so lead you to believe it could be done quite easily.
I didn't have the specs, but wanted to reply regardless.

    Good luck with the install.

    No problem Cruztaker.
I did install them, it went pretty smoothly. I didnt need a pipe bender as i cut the midpipe just before the factory clamp, allowing me to use the short straight area just after the bends.

How do you like the sound? Is anything else been changed on your system. I have been thinking about doing something but as this is my driver I don't know if I want the noise. Any comments anybody? How loud is it in the car?

mine is stock except for the Flows and delete tips.
It sounds pretty deep and good. Outside the car its not too loud for me. Inside, i need to clean up some welds, i think i have a leak thats causing some 1500rpm drone. at 70 you can hardly hear them in the car at all.
