The Beast Is Retuned.amazing Just Amazing

HOLY ****.thats all i can say.sal from power surge hooked it up.got there at 10 am sal finished at 5pm.he took his time and really tweaked the car to its potential.i watched the whole process with lenny and john and john junior.thanks guys for hanging out with me so long i really appriciate it.well back to the car.last dyno from dennis car ran 442 rwhp.dennis safe tuned it t for the guy who originally owned it.i bought it last year the car was last tuned in june of 2005 so it was due for another tune since i upgraded the stall and tranny,i was thinking about changing the pully to up the boost but sal thought it was a bad idea since the block is stock and keeping her under 500 rwhp is the safe thing to due. i agreed.well after 10 dyno pulls and 7 hours later we got 480 rwhp and 407 pounds of torque with 9.87 pounds of boost.the new tune was just what i needed.the car is a monster now .i thought it was fast before forget it.the car is for sure going to be in the mid 11's now.last tune i ran 1230's with 442 rwhp and ****ty tires.i highley recommened sal at powersurge for your tune ,he will find those extra ponies hidden in your car and let them lose.LENNY WILL BE POSTING THE DYNO SHEET LATER TODAY WITH SOME GREAT VIDEO AND SOUND.THANKS AGAIN LENNY AND JOHN.WATCH OUT MARUADER VILLE 5 HERE I COME.

I'm not trying to be a wise guy. Those are impressive numbers, and good luck at the track. Let us know.

I always heard that every 10 RWHP is a tenth off your ET and a 100 RWHP is a full second.
Sorta like the thumb rule that every hundred lbs you remove adds a tenth and every thousand lbs you remove takes a full second off your ET.

I heard on the Opra show that for every 30#'s you take off you gain an inch!

Chris, I am glad you are happy with the tuning!

I did some research on my datalogs from your car, and the culprit is the injectors. The 39s are maxed out. I always said 39s were too small for that setup, but the MM guys always say they work. Then again, most of them aren't knocking on 500rwhp.

So you'll need to step up to some 60s, and then we'll have to retune the car unfortunately.

    One question to Sal,
Where are you located? I don't think I'm getting all the performance out of my MM.

Let us know how she runs at the track, please note the temp/hum.

W/ that much HP I would run race gas, cheap insurance. I take it down to under 1/4 and add 5 gallons of leaded race gas.

If you are worried about your O2 sensors just fill her up when you leave the track.

What octane do you run? I have only seen 103 unleaded and 110 leaded gas. I want to try race gas but not sure what to use.
