Now see.... That's my buddy right there I ya h'wat...

FN... No mods... Grandpa owned... Nothin'... Not even tinted windows... Interior could be in better shape due to his smokin' which they didn't disclose, which pissed me off, but once the headliner and carpet are swapped, that should fix the majority of that...

Be careful, Logan. The headliner is glued in.

Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:
    Alex "Marauderboi" Vachon 3/2/92-8/13/10
    Paula Babineau 1/9/67-8/2/11
    Rex Weinbender
    Peter

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

Yep, I would just Fabreze it until the smoke molecules dissapate (and they will over time) No need to go to the extra expense of carpet and headliner replacement.

And nothing against Zack's pedal design, but it does not hold a candle to the one you scoped out first. Remember, you get what you pay for...

I should be able to help with carpet. I may also have a source for a headliner.

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally? Do tell... The other nugget I need is a rear package tray from a 300A. Previous owner attached something with 4 screw holes through my package tray. Dork.

Nope, still have the jeep. Merc is a project car, not a daily driver. It's going to start getting disassembled pretty quick here... I have a punch list about as long as my arm to start collecting for this build-up.

Logan, wipe down all hard surfaces as well. The residue from the smoke sticks to it and will emit odor when temps rise.

You'll need about a gallon of Fabreze. You might want to steam clean the carpet first.

Looks like there's been a serious splintering. I never thought it'd be possible for this to happen to a group of owners of a car model that sold no more than 14000 copies over 2 model years. Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.

Thanks D... yeah, I've pretty soaked the interior in febreze and am letting it air out for a while before I have at it with the 2nd gallon... and if that still don't get it, I'm ripping the interior out and going shoppin'...

Yes, the other pedal is stronger.

The KB design is 'Placed' in a better location.

    Thanks for your public opinion.
