    Carbon Fiber Radiator Cover (Again)

    Hey, folks...

Some of y'all may have seen the carbon fiber radiator covers that a few of us have. These were produced on a limited basis a few years ago and have been unavailable since then. Occasionally I get requests for ordering info and availablility on these pieces.

Since I've been working with a local fiberglass & carbon fiber manufacturing facility with my hood project, I thought I would try and get the mold from the original maker and have my local shop make them. I guess the inquiry into the mold availablility stirred the interest of the original maker, so they are offering to make them again instead of selling the mold. They will be priced at $269 each.

Anybody interested contact Amy at DG MotorSports, 760-433-7413.

I recall some folks having quality issues w/ the previous run(s).

Have these bugs been worked out?

    Just passing on the info.

I had no problems with the one I got in the original production run.

    ...but others have.

I appreciate the heads up, but if the quality is going to be hit-or-miss, I will have to pass.

If it is going to be spot on....I VERY interested!!

Not to Hijack this thread...but would DG be interested in manufacturing a few other CF items???

I've got the last original CF radiator cover that was shipped along with a CF intake tube.
They look AWESOME and I'm interested in some other CF goodies...

Are you thinking things like a fuse box cover and vacuum canister cover?

I may be able to get my local guys to do those, if we can get enough interest to pay for having the molds made.

That would match my CF radiator cover and intake tube too, make for a really nice engine compartment treatment.

    EXACTLY!

The CF part wouldn't even need to replace the OEM black plastic lids...just cover the top and the sides of OEM lid like a cap.

I'm also looking at the black plastic OEM throttle linkage cover...
