Just bought my 03 black 74k, New here and new to panthers I'm getting my certificate tomorrow to find out what number it is. I think it's pretty early (manufactured 9/02) only problems so far are am/fm don't work and cruise doesn't work

2004 DTR Marauder, Built 26 February 2004, Inservice: 02 July 2004 Retired from DD 17 July 2008. Survived the cut, 28 April 2012. Back as a DD as of 18 November 2012.
I just got a 2003 Silver Marauder from the original owner (74,111). I am new to Ford muscle, I have some Mopar vehicles: 70 Cuda, 70 Baracuda Gran coupe, 67 Plymouth Convertible, 69 Fury VIP, and a reworked 87 5th Ave. The car came with worn out tires and I can't find any of the OEM tires. Have you guys found a workable solution to getting at least the same performance out of other tires or better? I would prefer to benefit from your knowledge and jump in on 20 inch wheels so I have options in the future. I know from the 2011 Challenger that came with 245/45/20's and the 235/55/18's for winter I put on the speedo runs true, so the 245/45/20's should work on back. So is it best to go 245/40/20's up front or 245/45/20's all the way around? Does any one make much stiffer springs and twin tube hydraulic shocks with much more dampening ability than stock for this car?
After driving the big merc and reading reviews on the tires it seems possible the flaws in the tires make some of the fun of the car possible, just my humble opinion. Any easy upgrade info would be appreciated, I can provide Mopar info in return.

Welcome to the modness!! And congrats on your new ride!!
Yes, pics would be awesome.
Read the tire forum. Opinions are just that. One thing for sure, get the carfixers alignment setting or front tires will wear prematurely on the inside. Boink your alignment guy in the head if he says he can't do it. If you are going with 20's let me be the first to say $8.00 for the stock wheels
And if you want a full dose of the marauder family come to Atlanta in september
Those were the days.........
DANG THEY'RE CUTE!!!!!!

Welcome to all the new folks...give a shout out if you get to driving in the Texas hill country this spring...mighty pretty hereabouts.
Just wanted to say Sup to all the Marauder owners from Alfred and the Grandview, MO area... Don't own one, but I guess I have the next best thing. 2004 LX Sport Crown Victoria
Welcome...love the Sports!!
Hi new member need help. Want to go with 20 inch wheels and was wondering what works best at about OEM width and performance level or a little better. Any help would be appreciated. I recently got a 2003 silver Marauder with bald tires and with 74,340 miles and on its 9th set of tires I would like a little better wear and performance.
There's something wrong with that Silver MM. Check alignment per ^^^^^. I'm at 93,000 and on my 3rd set of fronts and 5th set of rears. Pressures at 35 psi front and 38 psi rear. If you have traction control, rears must be 3-6% taller than fronts. Get a performance tire with stiff sidewalls. Several choices.

Well after a year of looking almost everyday I finally found a Marauder. I just picked a 2003 Blue with 37k on her. Took it today to get inspected and not a thing wrong. Can't wait to take a road trip or two in this baby.
