    Fuseable Link

Ford still seems unable to produce the cruise control repair wire.
With the warranty gone.. whats to stop us from ordering our dealership to simply repalce this link with the readily available one?? Besides the free service? What is our loss? Or where is the danger? I spoke to the dealership about this and he just chuckled. Its just a wire. Can we have our cruise control back????????

They are. They just look like big fuses.

I suspect you are refering to the 05s28 recall? All that is bing done is the brake switch at the master cylinder is getting a fuse in line, untill parts are available the switch is being disconected...plug it back in if you want.I have not seen any problems yet and vehicles that are aplicable have been around for 15 years...do the math?
    4;10's,JLT RAI,and Lidio's sct live wire,new air freshner,.......and now #153 Trilogy..377 hp and 400 lbs

    Wrong

I got a safety recall a month after I traded the GM in for the MM
I called the dealership about it and they said to bring it in have the wire removed and wait for a new one... so no cruise control till it arrives. the risk of fire is real and once notified liability shifts from ford to me. when the part didnt come I called them and they said a simple wire is all that is needed.. available at any car store. but chuckled when I offered to just pay for it myself. It seems the recall is NOT marauder. My mistake. I checked the VIN after you guys spoke up and it is not my Marauder. its the old car
