Wider? No, taller? Depends if you have T/C, or the ABS could throw a fit.

Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

You can go SAFELY to 255 on OEM Wheels--beyond that I do not recommend it--regardless of who is or who tells you different....even though several owners are doing it as mentioned -----but the word IMO is SAFETY---as for me--got 255 up front --295 on widened wheels on the rear......works for me....good luck

I have never heard of anyone putting 305s on our 8" rims.

How are they working out for you? Did the higher pressures help with the squish?

What about with wider rims? I was told that we have to look out for our suspension when moving to larger tires. A member over at the crownvic.net forums with a 2000 crown victoria is running 325/50/R15's out back and they don't hit anything because it has a different suspension than us. Would we be able to run 305 tires on 16 inch rims?

Our stock rims can be widened from 8" to 9.5". There were a couple vendors who would facilitate this service (they had shops do this for them). It can cost as much as $300 per wheel, not including the cost of the wheel. Do a search to find out more information, and better yet, collect the information you find and post it on the Marauder wiki (MyMarauder.com) under the wheels section. Thanks!

295's on 8" rims is dangerouse as hell, your streatching the sidewall way too much, and if you hit a good sized pot hole I'd bet the bead on the tire would let loose! A few years ago I tried puting 245/50/15 on 8" steels, couldn't even get them to bead up....my $0.02

I have heard of people doing this and I would NOT recommend it. 295 is way to wide for stock rims. I'm sure some will disagree and say they do it with no issues but to each his own regardless of that based on design specs and safety specs 295 is too wide for a non-widened OEM Marauder rim.

265 if the upper limit on stock rims, 255 really is as wide as you should go to be within recommended specs.

At $125.00 a pop and they wear like iron.

    Got them at www.eastcoasttires.com

Those look pretty cool...is there a front size available? I like the same tread on all four corners personally.
