I hear ya Paul. Hope to see you again at Atlanta this fall. Have fun with the Focus. Glad to see you continue to hang out here with us "older guys".

In all seriousness, I like your Focus just not the red one. Also, I was referring to your comment about "spending money" to make your Focus like the red one. That is what I don't get the logic of. Now you stated that you are only putting a tire package. Well, that's a whole different ball of wax so let's be clear here. Ya hear?

With that said, I'll admit that my view of the world is still pretty F-ed up so I guess you're right on that point.

Also, I am surprised at the high MPG. Some smaller cars don't achieve such high numbers in the real world. Are you getting those numbers on a consistent bases or are they available to one who babies the throttle?

$20k would have bought more than 5 years worth of gas for a SAFER Marauder......

Your right if I had 20k my Marauder would have been paid off but I don`t.I only put $300.00 down on the Focus.I like to change my routine every few years and try new things but I cant afford to try them all at once (I was a boater for 15 years and I miss that more than anything).I still have a good bunch of friends on both sites(And a few who don`t care for me) but that's ok too.Atlanta at the heavyweight shootout was when I knew it was time to move on.For as much fun has I had there was this element of weirdness because certain people could not unite for the common good of kicking Impala butt.Shora,Im sorry for popping off but you cought me at a bad time.My milage is pretty constent and I dont baby foot it but I dont really beat on it either. It`s a 5 speed so its still fun to go through the gears.
