Thread: CVN Drag Meet Season Opener March 2nd !

  1. #1

Talking CVN Drag Meet Season Opener March 2nd !

I want to invite everyone to our Season Opener Drag Meet:

    SUNDAY March 2nd - 11:00am - 4:00pm

I will be there by 12:00 (assuming the weather is in our favor of course.)

    Nice cold temperatures likely!

    Directions here:
    http://www.us41dragway.com/index.php?page=location

The track is about 1 hour from the intersection between I80/94 and I65 in Northwest Indiana.

We have a number of CVN members expecting to attend. If weather intervenes we will simply move it back a week.

You are all most welcome - you don't have to run to have fun! Bring warm coats.

    Its a 2.8 which = 13.5 psi

It made 460/450 on the dyno, but there is no way its making that currently.

I just checked the file and it only has 11 degrees of timing in it, which means the tuner 'de-tuned' the car after it made a good number on the dyno.

Ill add 3-4 degrees of timing and see what happens.

If I can get the car hauler and the weather is good I will try to bring the Fairlane. Dont laugh as I try to figure out how to drive it. No seat time in this one yet. I have not driven it other than backing it out of the trailor to put it in the shop. I doubt the Mercury will be ready yet. Sounds like the motor is going in this week. Most of the parts are in.

I'll make this. but I don't think I will have my Marauder. Maybe I can get my 65 in running shape by then or take my Blazer and run an impressive 16.3!

Looks like we will have quite a crowd if the weather is OK.

I hope that there will be some NA Marauders there for me to play with!
