03 300B or '04. AM and FM just hisses on mine. No, it's not an antenna problem.

Don't care if the tape or CD are broke, as long as the radio functions work...

Call United Radio at 800-448-0944......They are an authorized rebuilder for Alpine and the last time I spoke with them they will rebuild to "New Condition" for a little over $200.00....0ne year warranty and quick turn around!!

If you cannot find one cheap this may be a good alternative for ya!!

If I recall correctly, the 300A doesn't have the clock on the radio where the 300B does. That's what I can remember from running around with SID210SA in San Antonio.

Today Jman(Jake)/Starman(Dave)/my dad and I found out something preety intresting. If you have a 300a or a marauder with the clock in the trim you can make the clock appear in the radio. If you pry off the trim piece on the passenger side there are two plug connectors there is a black one and a white one unplug the white connector and turn on the car the time appears in the radio!

From my understanding the head units are the same in A's and B's. The radio was out in mine for a long time and I was able to pick up a used one for cheap from another member. Took the old one out put the new used one in and no issues since.

Got the '300A' head unit from LilCop2002 today. Clock works, Life is good.
Interesting thing I noticed, this unit is actually 1 month newer than the one I took out of Blue...
